To the right is the building which has now expanded to become the Uckfield Community Technology College with the lime trees showing in a spikey line beside it. Hempstead Road and Hempstead Gardens are to the south.
On the building site, to the left of the college, new homes in Lime Close cast long shadows. To the left of the site is Uckfield High Street stretching the full length of the picture.
